As women and especially moms, we often fall victim to the Impostor Syndrome – you know, where you feel like you’re just faking it ’til you make it — one wrong move and everyone will find out you don’t really belong.
Whether it’s skiing, guiding, being a supervisor, being a mom.
The funny thing is, we all feel this way.
The not so funny thing is, it’s not usually true. And it’s probably holding you back from shooting for all your goals, hopes, dreams, and aspirations.
As a women in the male-dominated outdoor industry, I have wrestled with these feelings for years. When I changed my profession, the feelings stayed the same.
Sometimes, we just have to step up and own how awesome we are.
